GENERALI HAN
Siska AŞ took on the role of finishing works contractor in the re-functioning of Generali Han, one of the magnificent buildings of Karaköy Bankalar Street, as a hotel while preserving its original features.
Generali Han, the project of Italian Architect Giulio Mongeri, was built in 1909. The building used by Generali Sigorta has hosted various finance and insurance companies, as well as architecture and law offices, until today.
Siska AŞ prepared detailed projects and technical specifications in accordance with the building’s projects, opening and business plans, and undertook the material selection and manufacturing. The building, which bears traces of its historical and cultural periods, will begin to serve the tourism sector with its 93 rooms after its renovation.
