SÖKTAŞ BUILDING
The historical building Söktaş Building in Asmalimescit was built as a residential apartment at the end of the 19th century. The building’s front was preserved and re-used as a store and office. The back garden was connected with the front entrance of the building and organized as a social cultural center. The interior marble staircase was rebuilt to serve the new path of circulation in order to create a spacious atmosphere on the side of the corridor.
