SUMERBANK BUILDING VAULT HOTEL
Sumerbank Building is one of the significant historical buildings of Bankalar Avenue. It was built in the Neo-Renaissance style in 1867 by the Italian architect Antoine Tedeschi, born in Istanbul. The building, which was built as a business center, was transformed into a hotel with a renewed space design. The Sumerbank Building differs from a building designed as a workplace in that it is re-purposed by being converted into separate independent units. The building was reinforced and the original features were preserved. New compartments such as rooms and bathrooms were added and the facade was restored.
